Grilled Cheese
A simple, kid-friendly lunch you can make in 15 mins or less!
Ingredients:
- 2 slices white bread
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 3 slices double cheddar cheese
- Sides: fruit, nut butter
Directions:
- Preheat a cast iron griddle over medium-low heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread, then put one piece of bread on the pan (butter side down). Add cheese on top, then the other slice of bread (butter side up).
- Cook until browned and crispy on the bottom, 5 to 8 minutes or so, then flip. Cook until the bottom is browned and crispy again, 3 to 5 minutes (this side won't take as long).
- Slice into quarters and serve with fruit and nut butter.
