Grilled Cheese Dippers & Tomato Soup
A classic combo kids love, inspired by the Feeding Littles Lunches cookbook.
Ingredients:
- Butter
- Whole wheat bread
- Cheddar cheese slices
- Tomato soup
- Grapes or other fruit
Instructions:
- Preheat the OmieBox UP thermos.
- Butter the outside of two slices of bread and preheat a griddle or skillet over medium-low heat.
- Put one slice of bread butter side down, then top with 3 slices of cheese. Put the other slice of bread on top, butter side up.
- Cook until golden and crispy on both sides, flipping once the bottom is crisped, about 5 minutes per side.
- Heat the tomato soup until it's steaming, then pack in the thermos.
- Slice the grilled cheese into 4 strips, then pack in the side compartment of OmieBox UP (don't forget the ice pack underneath!).
- Use an OmieSnack container to send fresh fruit on the side.
